- I was born into a Navy family and spent the next 39 years traveling around the USA. By the time I was 18 I had lived in Virginia, Tennessee, California, Minnesota, and Florida. At 18 I joined the Navy to "see the world" and travled to Scotland, Ireland, Greece, Spain, and Japan.

So you have attended the Charlotte Purls Meetings? I have been part of that group too. I'm also part of the Knit Nuts which meets at the Diltworth Coffee House in Mint Hill. I love your crochet work in progress. I knit and crochet too. Have you ever been to the Charlotte Yarn Shop in Mint Hill? You look familiar. I maintain the Mint Hill Stitch In Blog. We meet on the second and 4th Tuesday of the month

Yes, I have been attending the Charlotte Purls for a few months now. I have also started the Many Hues Crochet Guild which meets every Friday at the Hobby Lobby in Matthews. I am trying to put together a list of all the groups in and around Charlotte. I have the information on the Knit Nuts, can you tell me what time the Mint Hill Stitch group meets
