- I was born into a Navy family and spent the next 39 years traveling around the USA. By the time I was 18 I had lived in Virginia, Tennessee, California, Minnesota, and Florida. At 18 I joined the Navy to "see the world" and travled to Scotland, Ireland, Greece, Spain, and Japan.
